Commissioner Arthur D. Swannack clarified that the proposed changes do not redistrict commissioner districts (which happens every ten years) but adjust precinct boundaries within existing commissioner districts to maintain the statutory population limit of 1,500 residents per precinct. County Auditor Sandy Jamison was out of the office on Jan. 20, and supporting documents were not available at that meeting; Public Works Information Systems Project Engineer Jeff Marshall was identified as having prepared the packet for the Auditor.
