During its Feb. 26 special meeting the board approved several administrative items: the AB 1200 required filing related to a proposed collective bargaining agreement, amended certificated salary schedules reflecting a 3% on-schedule increase, an invoice for bond-measure consulting not to exceed $1,419.80, and a resolution to dispose of obsolete district items including two old school buses.
A district staff member summarized the AB 1200 requirement: "With the proposed collective bargaining agreement or tentative agreement with ADA for the 2526 school year, we are required to submit an AB 1,200 to Los Angeles County Office of Education, which outlines the proposed changes in compensation." The board also approved the certificated salary schedule amendments and the modest consultant invoice; the resolution to declare items unusable or obsolete listed equipment such as IT gear, furniture and two old school buses for disposal or sale.
Board members approved the items by voice vote. Staff will proceed with the required filings and procurement or disposal steps per district policy.
