Facilities and finance committee reports on bus replacement options, iLEAD lease and new Vasquez canopies

At the Feb. 26 special meeting the facilities and finance subcommittee reported on capital- and facilities-related matters, including a discussion of options to lease or purchase replacement buses, a draft lease for an iLEAD Agua Dulce campus, and recently installed shade canopies at the Vasquez campus.
"Facilities and finance met this last Monday at 4PM. We talked about the little owl's new phones, and we're working on getting those in place. We also talked about a draft lease agreement for iLEAD, the, Agua Dulce campus," a subcommittee representative said. Subcommittee members noted the district will provide additional options in coming weeks and schedule a field trip so stakeholders can inspect buses before purchases are recommended.
Trustees thanked facilities staff for visible improvements: one member singled out "Ernesto and his crew" for work on painting roofs and installing canopies. The subcommittee indicated it will return to the board with refined options on bus acquisition and the iLEAD lease for further consideration.
