The Bond County Board convened a special meeting on Aug. 26, 2025, beginning at 4:00 p.m. The meeting included a unanimous approval of the 377 levy request, discussion and a split vote to award a one-year health insurance contract to ECG for 2026, and a notice that the Health Department's request to dispose of a 2005 Chevrolet Express van will be placed on the next agenda. Board member Jacob Rayl urged colleagues to remain respectful and avoid raised voices during future meetings.
