Central Township submits $75,000 settlement for Dudleyville Road Bridge; board acknowledges

Under Public Comment at the April 15 Bond County Board meeting, Central Township Road Commissioner Bob Suess presented a check for $75,000 as the final settlement for the Dudleyville Road Bridge project.
Highway Engineer Mike McCormick told the Board the previous engineer had failed to apply for funding that should have been used on the project, and that acceptance of the $75,000 was a board decision agreed upon prior to the start of work. Chairman Chris Timmermann confirmed both parties were in agreement after the presentation.
