Council approves consent agenda including cybersecurity, Marin IT contract and Fairfax dispatch agreement

The Ross Town Council approved a broad consent agenda that included routine administrative actions and contract authorizations. Highlights included authorization for the Town Manager to execute an agreement with Marin IT for cybersecurity implementation and managed IT services in an amount not to exceed $172,550 (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027); an agreement with the Town of Fairfax for police dispatch services starting at $81,000 in FYE27 and increasing to $120,738.34 in FYE31; and an increase to the Professional Services Agreement with CSG Consultants for building plan review and inspection services to a not-to-exceed amount of $160,000 for FY2025-26.
Council also reappointed members to the Advisory Design Review Board, adopted the FY 2026/27 Investment Policy, and set dates for the 2027 regular Town Council meetings. Item 10k (Consor amendment for Winship Bridge) was pulled for separate discussion and approved after recusal; the remainder of the consent items passed unanimously (5-0).
