At its June 11 meeting the Ross Town Council adopted four resolutions approving separate planning projects after staff presentations and ADR Group review. The actions included design review and setbacks variances at 3 Willow Hill Road (Resolution No. 2630); an ADU conversion and nonconformity permit at 111 Bolinas Avenue allowing a 492-square-foot cottage to become an ADU (Resolution No. 2631); reapproval of previously granted entitlements for 101 Upper Road with new retaining walls and landscape structures (Resolution No. 2632); and design review for a new outdoor pool at 313 Upper Toyon Drive (Resolution No. 2633). All actions were adopted unanimously (5-0).
Planning Director Roberta Feliciano told the Council the ADR Group recommended approval for all projects and that staff found each proposal consistent with neighborhood character and applicable standards. Council and staff discussed streamlining fee and zoning processes for small-lot projects along Bolinas Avenue and potential General Plan updates to facilitate future ADU or small-lot approvals.
