Mayor Pro Tem Robbins proposed edited wording to emphasize maintaining "local ambulance service staffed by paramedics available to respond to 911 emergencies" rather than wording that referenced preserving response times or exact paramedic counts. Council asked staff and RVPA counsel to review the alternative language; the council continued the parcel-tax ballot-language item to the July 9 meeting for final action.
