Mayor Chad Gluss asked council to confirm two administrative appointments: Joe Borczuch as Service Director and Julia Forbes to the Park and Recreation Board. "He would ask that Mr. Joe Borczuch be appointed to the Service Director position," Gluss said during the meeting. Council President Garry Thompson moved to appoint Borczuch and the motion passed by poll (7 ayes; 0 nays).
Council then approved the appointment of Julia Forbes to the Park and Recreation Board with a term to expire Dec. 31, 2030. The motions were made and seconded by council members and carried unanimously. These appointments were handled during the mayor’s report rather than through separate ordinance readings.
