Staff also confirmed coordination with Marin County election officials and town counsel on ballot language and consolidation logistics.
Mayor Julie McMillan moved to adopt Resolution 2637 and the motion passed 5–0. Council members said they expected RVPA to report annually to member agencies on use of funds. Because the tax requires a two‑thirds voter approval in each member jurisdiction to continue, staff noted outreach and voter education will be important ahead of the November election.
