He added there is "a potential of an additional $900,000 to come from a private donation" that could increase available funds for trailheads and restrooms. Engineering staff noted a trailhead near Chelley (Mt. Eaton Estates) and said work will minimize neighborhood disruption; parking for trailheads will be provided at the trailhead locations to avoid using residential streets.
Staff emphasized coordination between remediation and passive‑park contractors because the property is large and both crews will operate concurrently. No formal vote was taken; staff will return with progress updates.
