County Highway Supervisor Brian Koch reported to the board on Aug. 5 that the county's preliminary tally for the summer flood is 46 affected sites and a ballpark damage estimate of $110,000, covering both county-owned and township infrastructure.
Koch also briefed commissioners on routine road matters including CSAH 15, Dumont, CSAH 9 and County Park. The minutes record the damage estimate as preliminary; the Highway Department and townships will continue to refine site counts and cost estimates as repairs are scoped.
