Chair Green said she will coordinate with staff and the attorney to circulate proposed Friday meeting dates for August through December because meetings are now televised and public access must be coordinated.
Melinda Rogers announced she will serve as the Virginia School Boards Association legislative delegate and said she will bring VSBA items to this committee prior to the full-board delegation meeting. The committee also asked the legislative consultant to be available for questions and to track who is appointed to the joint committee on secondary education funding so the district can lobby or engage as needed.
