Mark Reid, Sheridan County Planner, told the board staff are preparing to incorporate the Fast Track Permits Act (HB002) requirements into county permitting procedures by July, with primary changes focused on paperwork and notifications to applicants and stakeholders.
Reid also said the Planning & Zoning meeting was rescheduled to March 31 to accommodate colleagues and address items including a variance and a vacation; he provided a brief overview of year-to-date permits for 2026 compared with previous years.
