Sheridan County Extension schedules community needs assessment April 23 with UW team

Sheridan County Extension staff told commissioners they will host a community needs assessment on April 23 at the WACC Ag Center with a team from the University of Wyoming.
Zach Hein, the county 4‑H educator who presented for Extension, said the meeting will begin with dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. program and breakout sessions covering Community Vitality, Health Educators, Centiceful Nutrition, Ag and Natural Resources, and 4‑H. "We will have dinner at 05:30 ... and then, at 6, we'll begin the program," Hein said, adding staff will present brief overviews of each branch and then gather stakeholder feedback on unmet needs and opportunities.
Why it matters: Extension leaders said the session is intended to gather input to improve local programming. Staff said invitations will go to key stakeholders and asked commissioners to help publicize the RSVP information.
What’s next: Extension will distribute RSVP materials and proceed with the April 23 stakeholder event.
