Sheridan County commissioners approved a brokerage services contract to sell a county‑owned incubator unit at 1981 Double Eagle Drive, Unit A.
Administrative Director Cameron Cup told the board the county had attempted to sell the property directly for more than a year and received one responsive proposal from Century 21; staff recommended moving forward with the broker at a 6% commission to handle marketing and listing. "Overall, it's a 6% commission fee," Cup said. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the award by voice vote.
What it means: the county will rely on a broker to determine a listing price and market the property; staff said the broker will advise the county over the coming months. The contract passed with no recorded dissent, and county staff will return with the executed brokerage agreement.
