EMA Coordinator Whitebird presented his monthly report and told committee members he wants to hire a replacement deputy and possibly a second deputy. He also raised the need to destroy certain records and asked about the process to do so.
After discussion the committee asked Whitebird to prepare resolutions and, if necessary, obtain permission from the State of Illinois before forwarding paperwork to Clerk & Recorder Amy Frederick so the matter can be considered at the committee's April 2026 meeting.
