City Manager Ethan Reimer told the council that the Land Bank had approved a contract for the sale of 217 Main to Mya Ashlynn LLC at its meeting held earlier that evening. Staff recommended continuing the distressed-property hearing until Dec. 8 to permit closing and transfer of ownership.
Councilmember George Torres moved to proceed with the closing and transfer of ownership and to continue the distressed-property hearing at 217 Main until the Dec. 8 council meeting; the motion was seconded by James VanSchaick and carried 4-0. The council’s action allows the property transfer to proceed without concluding the formal hearing process until the next scheduled meeting.
