After late submissions, Lincoln County reopens county printing bid for five weeks

At the County Printing bid opening the meeting record shows two late bids from Free Press Publishing — one emailed and one sealed received by the Clerk days after the closing. Prosecuting Attorney Ty Albertson told the board that an electronic receipt followed by a sealed bid received after the deadline creates an irregularity and could advantage the bidder under RCW guidance, and he recommended re-advertising the solicitation using the same bidding process.

Following the prosecutor’s recommendation, the Commissioners unanimously voted to reopen the County Printing bid process and advertise the contract for a five-week period.
