Highway Department reports progress on CSAH projects; DNR offers ribbon-cutting option

County Engineer Chad Gillespie and Highway Supervisor Brian Koch briefed the board on several road projects including CSAH 15, Dumont and CSAH 9. Gillespie said work on the County Park Rough will begin at the end of July or beginning of August. The City of Wheaton's LRIP project bid was accepted and the grant agreement is fully executed.
Gillespie reported the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources asked if the board would be interested in a ribbon-cutting for the MNDNR Get Out More project; the commission made no decision at the meeting. The highway office also noted an auction starting the next day through MinnBid.
