The senator listed targeted statewide allocations and programs that may be relevant to Amelia County: approximately $83.1 million for a 1.5% bonus for state and state-supported local employees, roughly $900,000 earmarked for sheriff's office E-911 dispatchers, $50 million for broadband through the Virginia Telecommunication Initiative, and funds for special-education support and school construction deposits. He pledged to continue off-season listening tours and town halls in each county and invited the board to provide local details that could inform his legislative priorities.
