Council approved a requisition to Cargill Salt for 350 tons of rock salt for the 2025/2026 winter season in an amount not to exceed $25,893.00. The motion was made by Councilman Brian Chitester, seconded by Councilman Chad Gluss, and passed 5–0.
Council accepted a $50 donation from William Eichenberg to the Service Department and approved three commission actions: appointment of Tom Fenderbosch to the Civil Service Commission (term to 12/31/2030), appointment of Holly Neumann to the Shade Tree Commission (term to 12/31/2029), and reappointment of John Campbell to the Planning and Zoning Commission (term to 12/31/2030). Each appointment motion passed by unanimous vote.
The minutes also record Mr. Munteanu thanking Mr. Eichenberg for the donation and noting the salt purchase is for the upcoming winter season.
