Chief Operations Officer Dan Hinderliter reported capital projects are progressing well, saying the "State Records Center expansion is on schedule and within budget." The board also heard that the design committee for 800 East Broad Street will interview architectural and engineering firms next month with a goal of awarding a contract by the new fiscal year. Mr. Clark and staff said funding for the Print Collection Inventory was secured in the Budget Bill signed by the Governor and that inventory work is critical to preparing collections for eventual movement into the expanded facility.
Staff flagged the inventory and barcoding work as a near-term operational priority tied to the expansion timeline.
