Library previews VA250 exhibition and Brown Teachers Institute schedule

Library staff reported programmatic updates for 2025–26, including the VA250 exhibition and the Brown Teachers Institute. Sarah Falls said the Brown Teachers Institute is nearly completely booked across four Virginia locations (UVA Wise, Fredericksburg, James Madison University, and Christopher Newport University) and noted that the VA250 exhibition 'House to Highway: Reclaiming a Community History' will be on view in Richmond from June 29 to Dec. 31, 2025, with a smaller version to be displayed at Old Dominion University's Perry Library.
Falls also provided an overview of LibGuides and encouraged committee members to review updated signage and wayfinding recently installed in the Library's lobby.
