Library Foundation reports $5 million contribution, new hires and grants

Scott Dodson, Executive Director of the Library of Virginia Foundation, updated the board on recent fundraising progress, including a Mary Morton Parson Foundation grant and a $5 million contribution toward several of the Library's larger goals. Dodson encouraged board participation in forthcoming events, including an 1823 Society reception on July 14 hosted by incoming leadership.
The Foundation also announced it hired Kerry Kinnison as director of leadership and planned giving and continues to cultivate major gifts and grant partnerships to support Library initiatives.
