Commission appoints RSVP member, certifies KCAMP delegate and defers an alcohol-fund allocation

The Harvey County Board of Commissioners appointed Patty Wesley to the RSVP Advisory Council to fill an advisory-council vacancy. Commissioner Becky Reimer moved to appoint Wesley; Commissioner Don Schroeder seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The board also certified voting delegates for the KCAMP annual meeting, naming Commissioner Terry Scott as the delegate and County Clerk Rick Piepho as the alternate. In a separate item Shannon Kingsley recommended allocating $5,000 from the county Alcohol and Drug Program fund to the STAND youth prevention program (Harvey County has allocated $5,000 annually to STAND since 2019); Commissioner Reimer moved to defer the allocation until Commissioner Scott is present and the motion passed unanimously.
