Committee approves $100,000 for American Legion–Harrison stairs, citing safety noncompliance

After discussion the motion was seconded and a roll call vote carried the funding motion.
The committee instructed staff to proceed with the focused stairs-and-railings scope and to follow up with implementation details and scheduling. The decision came amid broader debate about prioritization and scope creep across the packet of requested increases.
