Rockledge honors valedictorian Mason Derwitsch, who will join U.S. Air Force

At the Feb. 4 meeting, Councilman Michael A. Cadore recognized Rockledge resident Mason Derwitsch for his academic accomplishments and community service. Cadore noted Derwitsch was Rockledge High School valedictorian in 2022, has already earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree, volunteers with Rockledge Little League and Keep Brevard Beautiful, and will enter the U.S. Air Force in the Hospital Administration/Operations Unit.
Derwitsch thanked Cadore and introduced family members and friends in the audience. The recognition was presented as part of the council's regular presentations honoring residents' civic contributions.
