The Cibola County Board of Commissioners convened as the county Canvassing Board on June 12 and approved the canvass of the 2026 Primary Election by a unanimous 5-0 vote.
Commissioner Georgia Routzen-Sanchez moved to approve Item A, the canvass of the 2026 Primary Election; Commissioner Ray Carpenter seconded. The motion carried 5-0. After the canvass, Chair Ralph Lucero moved to reconvene the meeting as the Board of County Commissioners; Routzen-Sanchez seconded and that motion also passed 5-0. The meeting adjourned at 1:14 p.m.
