Coleman told the committee she is purchasing the Atlas Pub and said she has “31 years of management experience” though this is her first restaurant and on‑premises alcohol operation; she is training at the location and is TIPS certified. Department reports in the record show Building recommended approval, Fire requested a square‑footage recalculation because of possible reconfiguration, Planning recommended approval with deferral to Public Health and Public Safety, and Engineering had no comments if there are no site improvements.
Councilor Shumsky moved to close public input and then moved to approve; both motions carried on roll call. The permit was approved to run with the applicant; the minutes show no additional conditions recorded in the committee’s motion.
