Board approves Countryside Acres final plat and road dedications
Summary
Butler County approved the Countryside Acres final plat (PL 26-18), a six-lot subdivision on ~40 acres with a 70-foot internal roadway, drainage and utility easements, and 75-foot building setbacks; Planning Commission had approved the plat 5-0.
Community Development Director Toby Stewart presented the Countryside Acres final plat for land owned by the Coykendall Living Trust south of SW 160th St. The proposal parcels ~40 acres into six roughly five-acre lots, will be served by private wastewater and Butler Rural Electric for power, and will include a 70-foot internal roadway with cul-de-sac. Planning staff noted no FEMA floodplain on the property and that the County Engineer approved the drainage report.
The Planning Commission approved the final plat 5-0. Commissioner Dan Woydziak moved to approve acceptance of easements, road and right-of-way as indicated on PL 26-18; Commissioner Darren Jackson seconded and the motion carried 4-0.
