The Long Prairie City Council convened at City Hall on Sept. 16, 2024. Mayor David Wright called the meeting to order; council members Lilah Gripne, Jim Kreemer, Clint Krueger and JoAnn Schroeder were recorded as present, along with City Engineer Kent Louwagie, Police Chief Ryan Hanson and City Administrator/Clerk Candace Bruder.
Council member Lilah Gripne moved to approve the agenda and JoAnn Schroeder seconded; the motion "carried unanimously," according to the meeting record. After the council heard the presentation on the 2025 Financial Management Plan, council member Jim Kreemer moved to adjourn, Lilah Gripne seconded, and the meeting was adjourned at 6:45 p.m.; the minutes state the motion carried unanimously.
