The Long Prairie City Council approved a preliminary tax levy of $1,185,215 for taxes collectible in 2025 under Resolution #24-09-16-25. The resolution itemizes levy purposes including the General Fund ($686,149) and several general obligation bond levies, producing a total preliminary levy of $1,185,215.
Representatives from Ehlers provided the levy estimate and noted this figure is preliminary: the final levy may be lower at the required December hearing but cannot exceed the adopted preliminary amount.
