During the public-comment portion of the Aug. 19 meeting, resident Larry Schroeder asked about the pickleball courts; staff replied the project is behind schedule due to weather and material delays. Reggie Lambrecht asked about how to obtain information on illicit activities and was advised to follow public-records (FOIA) procedures. Darla John asked about reapplying for a garage addition and was directed to attend the next Planning & Zoning meeting.
The council also acknowledged a presentation request from Marek Kutt of Southwestern Advantage and added his transient merchant request to the agenda as item 11 for further discussion. Later in new business the council approved a transient merchant license for Southwestern Advantage to operate door-to-door Aug. 20–24 from 9 a.m.–9 p.m.
