Anchorage council notes FY2024 surplus, approves Jan. minutes and adjourns at 6:13 p.m.

The Anchorage City Council convened on Feb. 10, 2025, with Mayor Neil Ramsey presiding and four councilmembers present. Hunter Wilson moved to approve the Jan. 13, 2025 regular meeting minutes; Karin Tyrer seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
City Administrative Officer Reneé Major told the council the FY2024 audit reports will be available next month and that FY2024 "ended with a generous surplus." The meeting included reports from Police Chief Dean Hayes, Public Works Director Gary Burkhead and a report from School Board representative Nancy Lynne Walters. At 6:13 p.m. Wilson moved to adjourn; Matt Delehanty seconded and the motion was approved unanimously.
