Corps staff described sequencing and regulatory timing for the North Jetty maintenance. They said stockpiling and truck deliveries have begun and that placement onto the jetty is scheduled to start in August; some work is constrained by an annual in-water window.
"Stone placement on the jetty will start in August," Gabby Cioppini told the meeting. She also said the in-water work window is July 16 through Feb. 15 in any given year; above-high-tide work such as stockpiling can be done outside those dates. Corps staff said the contractor's schedule includes weather-day buffers and that work is expected to continue through 2029 with site restoration taking about a year afterward.
