Chair (speaker 3) said the resolution authorizes the road foreman to review proposed sign placements for compliance with standards and to work with homeowners associations. "This resolution gives him the ability to work with the HOAs," Chair said, adding that if parties cannot agree the matter can be returned to the court for adjudication. The court passed the resolution by voice vote.
Commissioners said the change aims to reduce back‑and‑forth at the court level and speed up routine signage decisions while preserving the court's authority to step in when disagreements persist. Staff reminded residents that signs must meet size and placement standards and that some previously installed signs may not conform to current requirements.
