The Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee of the Town of Redington Shores reviewed a slate of proposed projects on April 29 and agreed the full set should be forwarded to the Town Commissioners for further consideration. "Eighteen ideas were discussed in detail to determine if they fell within the scope of Parks & Recreation," the meeting minutes state.
Committee members said they would each consider the proposals in detail and return to the next meeting prepared to discuss project priorities and ways to implement the items. No formal vote was recorded; the minutes show consensus to refer the ideas to the Commissioners and to continue discussion at the committee's next meeting on May 27, 2026, at 5 p.m.
The committee did not list specifics for each of the 18 ideas in the minutes. Members present at the meeting were Ginger McQuigg, Cathy Sypnewski, Theresa Galivan and Loretta Fricks; two members were absent. The minutes say the ideas "warranted further discussion and then be presented to the Commissioners."
