The Petersburg Borough Assembly approved Ordinance #2026-02 on its second reading to vacate a portion of the Seventh Street right-of-way and authorize conveyance to the borough for consolidation with adjacent Block 275 to create a lot suitable for residential development.
The ordinance drew no public testimony at its public hearing. The assembly approved the second reading by unanimous roll call vote; the motion was made by Assembly Member Jeff Meucci and seconded by Assembly Member James Valentine. The minutes record the ordinance "was unanimously approved by roll call vote in its second reading."
