At its Sept. 20 meeting the Tompkins County Legislature approved the consent agenda (budget transfers and program authorizations), moved select items for separate consideration, and recorded committee actions across several standing committees.
Notable outcomes: Public Safety Committee resolutions (Appropriations for Sheriff's Office replacement pay; budget adjustments of unspent funds) were moved and passed unanimously. Resolution E (authorizing a public hearing on proposed local law D) was adopted after friendly amendments. Resolution K (policy 11‑39, nondiscrimination/Title VI) was adopted on roll call, 11 ayes and 1 no.
