After a motion to confirm and a second, the legislature voted unanimously to appoint Salisbury. Mariana noted the selection was complicated by ABIR’s role in recommending and confirming candidates; he described Salisbury’s background, including degrees in regional planning and geography and experience managing legal‑aid programs internationally.
