At the April 9 meeting, Mrs. Brown, Director of Pathways, introduced Israel Sotelo, Chief of Staff to the Tulare County Board of Supervisors, who read a proclamation recognizing April 16 as National Pathway Day in Tulare County on behalf of Supervisor Dennis Townsend. The board also honored two employees: Lucy Buenostro was recognized as Certificated Employee of the Year and Erica Mendiola as Classified Employee of the Year for Olive Street Elementary School.
Superintendent Nate Nelson and trustees congratulated awardees and noted the district’s inaugural PUSD Honors event. The recognitions were presented without public comment and recorded in the meeting minutes.
