The Porterville Unified School District Governing Board on April 9 approved Payroll Orders for March 2026 totaling $14,268,994.41 and ratified the Purchase Order Report and Total Payments Report for the relevant periods. The board also approved the Williams Quarterly Report for the first quarter and set a public hearing date for the 2026–2027 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and the district’s proposed budget.
The consent agenda also included ratification of revised out-of-county field trip requests and approval of the 2026–2027 student capacities for middle and high schools, and Personnel Report No. 15-26. The motion to approve the consent agenda was moved by Tom Velasquez, seconded by Rudy Ruiz and carried with all seven trustees voting aye.
