In his report to the Select Board on Sept. 16, Town Manager Rob Gaiotti said DFD will begin Contract 2 with Casella Construction on Sept. 29. The work will replace service lines from the main along Route 30 to either the home or curb stop; the project is part of a roughly $1.5 million program leveraging about $650,000 in loan forgiveness and grants.
Gaiotti said the work will include paving on Route 30 when complete and is expected to finish in spring 2026. The update was part of the Town Manager’s report that also covered office relocation and other operational items.
