Select Board to decide on Tier 1B Act 181 designations in December

At the Nov. 18 meeting Nick Zaiac of BCRC presented the Tier 1B designation options created by changes in Act 181 and explained the town could select one or all three eligible locations for designation.
Board member Frank Parent asked whether the town had to choose a single site or could designate multiple sites; Zaiac replied the town could pick one, several or all three locations. The board agreed to discuss the options further at its December meeting before making a formal decision.
