Commissioner David McAneny presented a July 20, 2025 letter and proposed replacement language for bylaw section 3307.G.1 aimed at allowing housing on Raptor Lane. After discussion that focused on conditional-use and PUD (planned unit development) review, Commissioner Kit Wallace moved to adopt the revised language; the motion, seconded by McAneny, passed unanimously 6-0-0.
Chair Gay Squire said any new bylaw text should be reviewed by the town attorney before public hearings. McAneny will forward his letter and the proposed wording to the Selectboard and the town Housing Committee for comment. Commissioners noted that two other bylaw sections he reviewed did not require revisions for the reasons McAneny specified.
