Planning Commission accepts Design Review recommendation for carriage house dormers

The Dorset Planning Commission on Sept. 2 accepted the Design Review Committee’s recommendation to permit two new dormers on a proposed carriage house, an amendment to permit 049-2023BU. Commissioner David McAneny moved to accept the committee’s recommendation and Vice Chair Scott Thompson seconded; the motion carried 7-0-0.
Kit Wallace presented the Design Review Committee minutes of Aug. 18 and owner-provided images of the proposed dormers. The minutes state, "The Design Review Committee thought the new dormers looked fine and recommended approval." The action was entered on the record as a recommendation accepted by the full commission.
