"When we operate at that 85%, typically we can get in same day, next day appointments," My Health presenter said, explaining why utilization ranges matter for access. The presenter described the clinic's 2025 numbers (about 88,239 completed appointments historically; 2025 snapshot showed 83.7% utilization and 94% unique participation among employees) and a market‑savings calculation that the vendor estimated at roughly $783,015 net savings for the county after administration costs.

Commissioner Rebecca Bays pushed for a one‑year renewal and for staff to benchmark the clinic’s numbers against Blue Cross Blue Shield claims information before committing long‑term, arguing county claims had risen and the numbers did not yet reconcile. Commissioner Holly Davis and others said the clinic provides recruiting and access benefits and pointed to contract clauses (including a 90‑day cancellation for convenience) that preserve flexibility. After a final vote, the board approved a five‑year renewal 4–1. The board asked staff to return with a more detailed cost breakdown and benchmarking against the county health plan.
