At the Dec. 18 meeting the Neodesha commission approved several operational items recommended by Administrator Jones. The commission authorized purchase of a trailer for the Electric Department from Sunflower Trailer Sales Inc. in an amount not to exceed $12,500 and approved writing off $14,853.35 in uncollectible debts related to deceased individuals as presented by the City Clerk.
The commission also approved the 2026 Cereal Malt Beverage license for Little Bear Trading Company and voted to donate use of the Civic Center to the Neodesha Booster Club for April 24–26, 2026. "Commissioner Truelove moved to approve the purchase of a trailer from Sunflower Trailer Sales Inc in an amount not to exceed $12,500. Seconded by Mayor Johnson. Motion carried," the minutes record.
