Colfax Food Pantry says it is 'up and running' under new management, serves about 500 people monthly

Coyzet Lueck, a Colfax Food Pantry representative, told the City Council the pantry "is up and running under new management" and is serving approximately 500 people per month. The pantry operates out of 121 N Main on the second and fourth Tuesdays and relies entirely on donations and fundraising, Lueck said.
Lueck asked the council to help publicize the pantry's services and noted the pantry will have a booth at Concrete River Days and has a donation basket at Rosauers. She also announced that senior meals have returned, to be prepared by Pullman Hospital on Thursdays, and asked residents to spread the word to increase local awareness.
